Instructions to Vendors to avail credit through e-banking.
1. As per CVC guidelines, e-payment should be the preferred mode of payment to vendors. As such BHEL would prefer to make payment to its vendors through e-mode
2. Vendor should approach its local branch regarding the availability of facility of e-banking mainly e-receipt.
3. In case if the local branch of the bank is not e-banking enabled, account may be maintained by the vendor with the bank branch that is e-banking enabled, preferably out of the banks normally operated by BHEL Hyd unit (IDBI bank, ICICI bank, HDFC bank)
4. For receipt through e mode, vendor is not required to submit any form with the branch of vendor's bank. As per the RBI instructions, the branches connected with electronic platform can't refuse the receipts through e-mode.
5. Vendor is required to submit the necessary details, namely, MICR code, IFSC code, Branch name, Branch Code, Account No etc to BHEL unit. The vendor should get the said details countersigned by the bank branch of the vendor to ensure the correctness of the details. Click here to download the nEFT form.
